Lesson learned for the week.

Conflict resolution role playing was very helpful to me. It taught me  how to handle different conflicts if presented by. Also, the different little project that we had to do was a great help in learning the programs and software. I look forward to being able to help others as DOT has help me to understand more about technology.

Thursday Training

Learning about how to deal with conflict was a big help to me. The role play that we did was a great way to see how a conflict situation can be resolved. I am now better at finding different ways to handle conflict if i came upon a situation. Digital story telling was interesting as well. We now can tell stories by using the internet along with images to get our point across instead of the traditional textbooks.

Consultant

Pair of hands: Lending a helping hand to whom ever needs it. Letting them know they you are there to help in any way.
Collaborate: Working along side with the people to help them to understand the materials. For example if a teacher is doing a presentation and is explaining something you can be the stand in and show diagrams or charts.
Experts: If the person has no understanding of any type of technology you can step in and let them know that u are very familiar and can assist them. Just make sure that you do not intimidate the other person with the knowledge that you have about technology. Help them to understand the materials and get them to be more comfortable with it. 

DOT Training

I did not know what to expect when i came to training with DOT. I was a bit nervous about learning this technology, i wasn't sure if i was able to pick up this stuff quick enough. But as training went on i got the handle on things. Getting to learn about google docs, podcast, vodcast, and movie maker is helping me advance my skills on the technology out there. With these skills i learned i can shared to other my knowledge and help others that are having a hard time as well. I am thankful to DOT for giving me this opportunity to learn about these technology to better my future.

Google mail has much more options than any other emailing services. One can do so much more with this service than the others.

Learning more about google and their services

Learning about google email services would be the favorite thing i learned so far. My name is Tai Nguyen and im glad to have the oppurnity to be able to learn about this.
